The Gorey Legacy Part 6
Hooray, I finally got Apartment Life! And hooray, I finally have a rare evening off, so here come more Goreys. Some of these screenies are quite old though, so here's hoping I remember what I was planning to write for them, heh heh...
Friedrich also is quite confused about the long lag between posts....
Boggerslosh is a typical teenager, obsessively writing in his diary, horrified his little sister might see it. You know, the usual.
He's gotten over his childhood dislike of the twins though. He likes Embley just fine.
Eepie learns to use the potty. A huge sigh of relief is breathed by me...
Apparently "personal boundaries" don't exist in this family, as Naenae can never use the toilet in peace.
Eepie, just because she was very cute with the Frankiestein toy.
Boggy wanted his first kiss (he rolled Popularity, oy vey...) and to meet someone new, but dang if he wasn't clueless about it.
There you go, that's how you do it!
She immediately ignored him after he tried to smash her face in with a football. *facepalm*
As usual, he flips out when told to go watch sports on TV, despite it being his One True Hobby. Moody.
And of course, his bipolar nature asserts itself again, and then he's fine with it.
Some child that Epergne dragged home from school decided to baffle Friedrich, who once again, hasn't bothered to get dressed.
Miss PinkDress hates the world. You'd think Boggy would love her for this, but no.
Father and son play chess to get logic points. Always fun!
Following in his dad's footsteps, Boggy makes good chess faces.
Finally, Eepie learned to walk.
Naenae is sometimes a bit too blonde, as she came home from getting a demotion and cheered about it.
It managed to hit her later. Woe!
Somehow I missed that it was time for the twins to have birthdays, so Embley grew up in a random part of the house, with no cake. I fail!
Eepie at least got a cake, and a birthday celebration.
Her growing up was so shocking, the Random Friend From Work levitated.
Embley, post makeover. Big lips on these kids...
And Eepie, post makeover. The twins are still adorable.
Three girls in one bedroom. Friedrich and Naenae seriously need to make some money for a home remodel.
Of course, a thief came and stole Epergne's model railroad. And of course, the outdoor light I put out there for them...
Boggy and Friedrich ran outside to wave their hands ineffectually. The police officer was the most ineffectual of all, he let the guy get away!
Epergne is horrified by her own stench. Witness also Eepie sleeping in. She's kind of lazy.
The nanny often looks like this when interacting with the children. Sassy. I don't like it.
Embley likes science, so she receives an ant farm.
BRILLIANT. She makes the best faces with this thing.
Epergne is disappointed that she now has bugs living in her room. Embley is oblivious.
The difference between Eepie and Embley is deeper than hair color- Eepie loves to blab on the phone...
... while Embley loves to study. She's kind of nerdy.
Boggerslosh is still failing at his social interactions with the ladies. Noogies? Really?
She was suitably horrified.
When he talked, she didn't want to hear it...
But the feeling was mutual. *sigh*
My distraction meant Epergne grew up before I could get her a cake. Argh!
She turned out really cute though!
She seemed to think so, since she immediately went to check herself out. She rolled Romance.
She attempted to hit on this guy in the dark, but he was uh, not playing for her team.
Boggy is still attempting to use noogies to get girls to fall for him. This is Jill, a girl he knew in elementary school who grew up the same time he did.
Eepie is totally lying here. She does not have five BFFs, even if you count her family.
Epergne's default PJ's were totally fitting for a wanna-be romance sim...
By the way, Embley has ten neat points. She cleans constantly.

Eepie would like the nanny to do her job. Nanny would like to play The Sims 3. Who will win?!
Epergne was sent off downtown to buy some new clothes. (I had a hacked clothes rack they could buy clothes from at home, but was having a weird issue with it so it got removed.) Don't look now, but Black Lipstick Kid is checking you out, girl!
He's blinded by her beauty! Or charging his lazers, I don't know which...
He's totally crushing.
But oh no, he's shy! Epergne's attempt to get her first kiss is denied!
Epergne shows off her new outfit. Boggy obsessively shoots air baskets. Stupid sports hobby...
The nanny graduated from ignoring the kids to insulting Naenae. Excuse me?!
Here's the nanny getting fired! See ya!
Boggy and Embley are good friends. He reads her plenty of stories about toilets, her favorite kind!
Homework party! Hooray!
Childhood friend Jill is apparently a masochist, because she finally gives Boggy his first kiss.
This? Just a typical night at home for the Goreys. Boggy is handing out noogies to everyone, Friedrich is playing Red Hands with Embley, lord knows where Naenae and Eepie are.
That's it for this batch, more to come later if I can get some more time off from work.
I did finally figure out that the hacked clothes rack was not the issue, I had some corrupted outfits in my adult female clothes downloads folder that crashed the game whenever I would get to them in the catalog. After spending a whole day trying to track down which ones they were, I ended up deleting the whole folder and starting over. Which has meant a painstaking re-downloading process for all my AF clothes. I also discovered I'd accidentally filed a lot of meshes and recolors for teens, males and elders in the AF folder, so I had to track all of those down too. Some outfits I haven't been able to replace sadly, like Naenae's skanktacular fetish skirt/corset combo. But, now my game doesn't crash, so that's a good thing! I found decent enough replacements, which will show up in the next installment. ^_^
