The Rosales Family Part 28

Finally have had a chance to sort my screenies, and thus a new update is born! Last time, Hortense and Rosales Varma had a daughter, who they named Agnes. Nancy Varma got pregnant by Bindi (omg hax), and Banjari and Froog continued to be Very Very Old.

We start with Nancy demonstrating the phenomenon known as the "pop".

Rosales is a doting father, and takes excellent care of Agnes.

Despite her condition, Nancy and Bindi are still pretty hot and heavy. And they don't care who knows it!

Being a Family Sim, Bindi is super excited about Nancy's pregnancy. She talks to the baby all the time.

Thank goodness Banjari is around and still unemployed. Otherwise, Agnes would have to lie in her own filth on a regular basis.

This could be because Hortense would much rather engage in romantic pillow fights with her husband than change the baby.

Obligatory baby bathing snapshot! Grandma Banjari does the honors while Grandpa Froog looks on.

Simon is curious about this new addition to the household, but ultimately, doesn't care.

With three Family Sims in the house, baby Agnes gets carted around a lot. Better than having her ignored, I guess!

Rosales, who is NOT a Family Sim, dotes on his daughter. He makes a beeline for her whenever he gets off of work.

Hortense even sometimes remembers to play with her infant daughter. I guess babies bore her...?

Banjari maxes her creativity points. And demonstrates the entire family's bizarre obsession with the piano.

Bindi proves the Varma trait of womrat love hasn't died out yet. Sooty approves. (And like Custard, appears to be attempting to live forever.)

Nancy desperately wanted to meet the wolf, so out onto the porch she went. Then THIS happened. D: I was terrified.

Oh, whew, that looks normal. Thank god...

Random baby endangerment makes a return to the Varma Clan! Who lets a wolf into a house where the baby is left on the floor half the time?!

Hortense managed to summon some maternal instinct and thankfully rescued Agnes from becoming a statistic. Nancy distracted the wolf.

Banjari spends more time taking care of Agnes than anyone else.

When she's not working out or going to work, Hortense spends her time watching TV or playing video games. Anything but dealing with her infant child!

Bindi can't get enough of Nancy, even when the latter is vastly pregnant.

Hortense: Hey, could we like, move out or something...? It's weird to live with your parents and your sister!
Rosales: You don't get this whole "heir" thing do you? And how could we afford a palatial estate like this on our salaries?

He distracts her with WooHoo. It works.

Grandpa Froog takes a turn with Agnes. He loves his granddaughter to bits.

Nancy is adorable, even when she's the size of a house and eating everything in sight.

Finally, the big day comes! Nancy is most unhappy, Bindi is oddly cheerful. Family Sims, I tell ya...

Bindi cheers Nancy on, while Nancy screams bloody murder. Knowledge Sims seem to hate childbirth more than any other kind.

It's all worth it though, as a baby boy is born to the delight of half the family. Half the family wandered in to see him conceived, so it's only fair that they all came to watch his birth.

Bindi is thrilled to pieces. The girls name their son Ravi Varma.

He appears to have Bindi's eyes.

The whole family is excited! I am less than excited when I realize Ravi's arrival means there are 8 Sims in the house. What was I thinking?!

Nancy immediately starts reading as soon as Ravi is born. My guess is that she is researching baby behavior.

But, she shows more interest in her infant than Hortense shows in hers. I'm not saying Hortense is a bad mother, just a rather indifferent one.

How can Nancy document her baby research in her diary if Banjari is going to barge in on her all the time? Really, now!

Hortense gets promoted. She's on her way to General.

And hey, it's time for Agnes to have a birthday! Hortense does the honors.

Banjari looks on with approval as Hortense flings her daughter at the ceiling.

In a spray of confetti, Agnes transitions into toddler-hood, and Banjari's original hair. Them custom genes are strong, yo.

Agnes then decides to annoy me by hiding her face in Hortense's masses and masses of hair.

Rosales eventually takes her and gives her a makeover more fitting for a toddler. She's reasonably cute, if a little odd looking.

Agnes is also an attention whore. She constantly demands attention, preferably from her papa.

But she loves her papa so much! AWWWWW!

Now that Agnes is no longer an infant, Hortense takes an interest in her.

She plays with her, though she's a little active with it.

RANDOM BABY ENDANGERMENT PART 2!!! Hortense, you are right NEXT to the stairwell! Okay, maybe I am wrong and maybe Hortense isn't the greatest mom ever...

Banjari is afraid baby Ravi is going to see all the things she's written about him in her diary.

She's still a wonderful grandma, though. And hey, the nursery got redecorated.

Hortense decides to try to be a better mother, and teaches Agnes to talk.

Success!

These two just won't quit.

Bindi works her one nice point on the way to her new job- as a high school principal! She looks fierce!

Family Jamboree. This is mere moments before I delete all these musical instruments, because I cannot stand the constant jam sessions.

Napalm Nancy on guitar...

Rockin' Rosales on drums...

And Badass Banjari on bass...

Thank god Nancy had to go to work, so the jam session broke up. She couldn't find a job in the Science career right away, so had to settle for Paranormal. She didn't like it much.

Has Hortense been hitting the sauce when I am not looking?!

Oh, no, she's actually being a good mommy and toilet training Agnes. Will wonders never cease!

Banjari still has to teach Agnes to walk, though.

Finally, it's birthday time again! Bindi brings Ravi to his cake. (There are so few pictures of him as an infant because he was very boring, and thus an easy baby.)

Looks like he inherited Grandpa Froog's hair.

Keen on continuing her research, Nancy doesn't skip a beat and immediately teaches Ravi to talk.

Walking is next on her agenda.

And she succeeds at that as well.

Meanwhile, Hortense explores her "creativity" by doing some truly appalling art. Hey, at least she's not scrapbooking...

The toddlers play side by side.

Ravi does not share Agnes' strong constitution, and vomits on anyone who jiggles him around too much. Poor Banjari is the unlucky recipient here.

Banjari toilet trains him while Nancy is at work.

Froog: Seeing you in this bathroom brings back a lot of good memories, honey.
Banjari: Awww, you're the sweetest!

They have always loved making out in that bathroom!

Buffy Summers comes home from work with Rosales and demonstrates a clear lack of good judgment by going swimming in winter.

Somehow, Nancy got struck by lightning. She didn't seem to mind much.

And here is when I changed my default skins to Enayla's Pixie skins as defaults. (Made by Poodle_Love over on MTS2...) Suddenly, Banjari looked like she went in for skin-bleaching. I was most unhappy, though everyone else looked great and much less shiny.

Bindi is a crafty one, all right.

Banjari suddenly remembers Simon and plays with him. Poor Simon has been neglected what with all the babies in the house.
Anyway, that's all for now! More to come as I get more screenies sorted and prepped. Thanks for reading!
