There is an elf face template in the Create A Sim (CAS) area that has cute elfy pointed ears, but Lunar Eclipse made those cool lynx-tip ears on her model.
I downloaded custom skintone replacements for my alien pollination technicians (if your male sims get abducted, they come back alien-pregnant from the technician, usually without fail...) and a multiple pollination technician hack so that I can have genetic diversity in my aliens (otherwise all your born-in-game aliens end up related, which is kinda weird and oogy, if you ask me). I am using the same Multi-PT hack that katu_sims is using, simply because I fell in love with the alien skins she had in game. Here is the Multi-PT hack, it's nice. Also, for fantasy skins, if you want them geneticised (ie: they will generate on townies and "blend" better when you breed customs skins together), check out Madame Mim's site- all the Enayla fantasy skins I use (my favorite skin maker, really) have been geneticised there. (http://genensims.com/guest/MadameMim/skinsDewshine.htm) Be sure to read the FAQs on geneticising really carefully though, because putting more than one version in per tone will cause Bad Things to happen to the game. (Game-breaking things...) For default replacements (for the 4 basic sim skin tones), I use Pixie Light and Pixie Night (http://www.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=203024&highlight=enayla) from MissSimGameFan on MTS2 as my lightest and darkest skin tones, and use Pixie Dream and Pixie Rust (http://www.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=230105&highlight=enayla) from Poodle_Love on MTS2 as my medium and tan skintones. Enayla has a lot of goodies on MTS2, also! (http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=40418) But if you want geneticised versions, you need to visit Madame Mim's site. ^_^
I can't believe I did such a huge paragraph about skin tones.... XD Don't get me started on default face replacement templates! I think I am using SpookyMuffin's default face template replacements, but I can't check anymore, since the site I got them at is now dead. ^_^;
