The Rosales Family, Part 4

doronjosimaWhen we last left them, those wacky kids Froog Rosales and Banjari Varma had just graduated from college. They moved into a palatial estate located just behind Froog's parents' house, to allow for ease of visiting in the future when the grand-kids would start coming. The tale continues under the cut!
What's the first thing those two lovebirds did? Why, woohoo in the magic love tub, of course! They both had very high influence points, and after the trials of attempting to get SimMeg pregnant, I wrongfully assumed the magic love tub would be needed and multiple attempts to Try For Baby would have to be used. How wrong I was! Banjari and Froog were immediately expecting moments after this screenie was snapped. The shocking thing is, they were only engaged and technically still "living in sin". Gasp!
Well, that would not stand, so they immediately had to get married. (Personally, I don't really care if people have kids out of wedlock, but I wanted SimJoe's eventual heirs to be legal and all...) Tragically, mere moments before SimJoe toasted the happy couple, Banjari was in the nearest bathroom, puking her guts out. Yes, in her gorgeous formal gown. As usual, Banjari is thinking about how amazingly hot Froog is...
Kissing! Awwww! And thankfully, Froog is working very hard to not think about his mother during this tender romantic moment... Where is his mom? Inside the house, playing the piano and completely ignoring the wedding proceedings...
Banjari waits impatiently for Froog to wander on out to the marriage arch so she can get married. Sadly, I didn't realize I had sent Banjari to the altar first and that such a thing had an effect on the game- so once they were married, Froog ended up with Banjari's last name! D'oh! So, the happy couple is now Froog and Banjari Varma. Oopsies.
After another bout of barfing, Banjari is ready for some wedding cake! She cuts the cake while Froog looks on.
And then she feeds some to Froog! It was adorable.
SimMeg stops playing the piano long enough to come and have some wedding cake with Banjari and Froog. Banjari compliments SimMeg on her dress. Mere seconds after this shot, Banjari stood up, looked shocked and poof! Suddenly, her pregnancy was showing and she was in her formal maternity outfit, which alarmingly, was the same dress SimMeg was wearing. I guess she really liked that dress... also, they obviously got hitched just in time!
Froog was thrilled to bits about Banjari's pregnancy, and was always wanting to rub her belly and talk to the baby. Banjari bore all of this with her usual good humor.
Banjari, on the phone with SimJoe. "Yes, I am pregnant, yes, indeed. Yep, you're going to be a grandfather. No, I don't know if it's twins yet... wait, you want six grandkids? Well, I'm doing my best here..."
A nice shot of Banjari in the last stage of her pregnancy. Her randomly generated maternity clothes just happened to be green. Have I mentioned Froog really likes green?
A charming family scene. Banjari naps and dreams about making out with Froog, while Froog relaxes on the couch after a hard day's work as a police officer. The nice quiet times didn't last for long though...
Banjari went to make a snack in the kitchen, and before she could even get there, labor began! On a cold tile floor, no less!
Froog ran in all in a panic, but didn't really do much but engage in some frantic hand waving...
Success! Banjari gave birth to a healthy baby boy, who they immediately christened Rosales Varma. (Had to keep the original family name in there somewhere...) Froog cheers at his new son! (You'll also note, Banjari is immediately back in shape and wearing skin tight vinyl pants again... if only that worked in real life.)
Froog was beyond thrilled with his new son. Here he plays with the baby, who like all Sims infants, is clad only in a diaper. I really worry about those Sim babies getting cold.
No, Child Protective Services haven't come to chastise Banjari for leaving the baby on the cold tile floor, even though that's what it looks like. Buffy came home from work with Froog, and in order to hang out with her, Banjari just unceremoniously dumped baby Rosales on the floor. This is apparently standard practice with the Sims whenever they are done holding a baby... it's kind of horrible in a way.
And that's all for this chapter! Will Banjari and Froog figure out how to properly take care of Rosales and raise him right? Will SimJoe apply more pressure for them to have another kid? All will be revealed in the next exciting (ha!) chapter!
