The Rosales Family Part 31
Mar. 25th, 2008 08:41 pmMore Adventures of Non-Heirs, as I try to keep all the progeny of Generation 3 around the same age so I don't get confused later...

We start with Amin Varma toilet training little Beniboom. This would be because Boomfreeka can't be bothered to mother her son. She's a famous actress, after all!

Amin also must teach Beniboom to talk.

I'm guessing Boomfreeka taught him how to walk because there was a photo-op for a magazine involved.

Poor Beniboom is left in his crib a good deal.

And Amin is even more pregnant with his alien spawn!

Boomfreeka has been promoted, so she has to wear a rather tacky red suit to work.

Amin finally teaches Beniboom how to walk. Hooray!

Boomfreeka has no idea what to do when Beni asks her for attention. She kind of completely fails as a mother.

She doesn't fail as a Varma though, and plays pirates in the bathtub.

Finally, the time comes for Amin to deliver his alien baby.

It's VERY PAINFUL! Boomfreeka is worried in the background there...

The baby is born and is a girl! Boomfreeka doesn't understand how this could even happen. I can't understand how Amin's genetics managed to completely over-ride the default alien genetics I have in the game. Dude has strong genes, I'm telling ya.

Welcome to baby Eve, who is half alien, even if she doesn't look like it.

Amin worries prettily.

Apparently, he can't figure out how the baby came out either.

Toilet training was finally accomplished, and not a moment too soon.

Beniboom birthday spam, because he is seriously one of the cutest toddlers I have ever had.

And he leaps into childhood! As well as ducky pajamas.

Seriously cute kid. Totally adorable!

He's also very neat. Cleaned up the minute he had his cake.

One more shot of his cuteness.

Of course, his room gets a makeover to go along with his new station in life.

Bizarrely, Boomfreeka is interested in tending to baby Eve. There must be paparazzi lurking outside the windows!

Meanwhile, across town in Joseph and Lilly's house, there's a whole lot of boredom going on.

SimPat happens by, and Joseph pounces on him. As a Popularity Sim, he's obsessed with making new friends. (Lilly is the same way...)

The traditional eating of sandwiches is undertaken. Lilly did the polite thing and put on some clothes before coming to the table.

SimPat tries to hug Joseph, and is rebuffed. REJECTION!

SimPat is unhappy with this development.

He settles for some TV watching with Lilly. Yeah, they both look thrilled.

I realized as Joseph started making this meal that I had no idea how many cooking points he had...

But all was successful!

They only have one bathroom. This causes issues when Lilly flushes while Joseph is in the shower.

Personally, I think she did it on purpose so she could check her husband out!

They are very much in love.

Lilly: Hey, congrats on getting engaged to me, dude!

Joseph loves rain. No, really, he LOVES it.

He invites his mom Banjari over so they can have a pillow fight on the lawn. Careful, she's old, she might break a hip!

Lilly discusses family recipes with Banjari. Gotta do something to get on the good side of the mother-in-law.

She invites people over ALL THE TIME, because she is desperate for human companionship 24/7. She's best friends with Stubbly Jones, and thus, also friends with SimJoe, who is her grandpa-in-law.

Joseph gets a promotion and has to wear a boring track suit. He's in the Athletic career track.

Somehow, Amin always comes home from work with Lilly, so Joseph makes the best of it.

I was seriously starting to wonder if the baby-making took, since Lilly seemed completely un-pregnant.

But then she surprised me!

And voila, first baby bump!

Joseph is an attentive father-to-be. He was always giving her backrubs!

Lilly's cooking skill is not so hot.

But she's great at making friends! Best friends with Amin!

I missed her secondary baby bump shot. It threw her into default maternity clothes. What is up with the bra showing through this hideous shirt? That's so trashy!

Amin and Vyvyan Bastard (from my Young Ones house) came by.

They broke the toilet. Par for the course for Vyvyan.

And Joseph gets another promotion! And thus, a better track suit!

Lilly is seriously the size of a house. I hope she only has one in there.

She spends every waking moment on the phone with her friends.

When she's not trying to make new ones. SimElin happened by outside, so of course, Lilly had to invite her in.

Everyone had a nice meal and a nice chat. I have no idea who the other woman is, she came home from work with Joseph. Sports teams are co-ed in the Sims universe, it seems.

Joseph got a new outfit finally.

Just in time for Lilly to go into labor!

It's a girl! A girl with mom's coloring!

Joseph is thrilled! The baby is named Serena.

Not even minutes old, and already obsessed with Dad...

A nanny is hired. Will she be useless? She showed up and showed all the signs of having a brain tumor.

But... she fed the baby!

And bathed the baby! A nanny that isn't completely useless! How can this be?!

Faith from my Buffyverse houses came home from work with Joseph, apparently to dance.

A very ANGRY dance!

The nanny continues to dote on the baby.

Joseph also dotes on Serena.

He also loves Lilly to pieces, even though her new career in Law gives her a hideous work outfit.

Like most Sims, he has no idea what to do when Serena emits green clouds of stink, though.

Lilly gets promoted, into a newer, uglier outfit.

Joseph is really not down with being hugged by near strangers.

He worships Serena, though! They were best friends before she even became a toddler!

Finally, it's birthday time for the baby!

The arcane baby-flinging ritual is performed!

And Serena becomes a toddler who really takes after her mom.

Her mom who apparently loves her husband so much, it makes her go all crazy-eyes. Yikes!

Banjari comes over to visit and is greeted with hugs.

And everyone smustles on the lawn, while Serena looks on in confusion.

Serena really looks like her mother. This may or may not be a good thing.

She's not hideously ugly or anything, just not amazingly adorable like Beniboom is.

For a closing shot, their house got redone. There had to be an extra bedroom added on, and another bathroom added. A one bedroom house does not cut it with a baby involved.
That's all for now- more to come as I get more pictures sorted and prepared. As always, thanks for reading and comments are always appreciated.
