doronjosimaIt's been a while since I was able to update. But finally, my computer is upgraded! I have a new power supply, and four shiny gigs of RAM. My game looks so much nicer, it's pretty exciting to me. ^_^ In the sadder end of life, my sick kitty declined very quickly, and had to be put to sleep in the middle of October. I am still pretty unhappy about that. My other two kitties seem to know what's up though, as they are being extra cuddly ever since then.
But what you care about is Sims, and hopefully, specifically, The Goreys! Last entry, all of Epitwee and Hal's kids were shipped off to Sim State University, so let's catch up with them there!
We start with Quentin, the eldest. He grows up into an awful outfit.
Ortenzia, looking subdued.
Louise grows up into a low-cut top.
Celia looks much the same.
Thump, boring as ever.
Oh Maud! I really expected Ortenzia to grow up into something crazy like this outfit.
On the other side of town, the various girlfriends also arrived at college. Renee (Thump's girlfriend) was the first out of the taxi.
Matilda grows up totally gorgeous! I must admit to being torn between Celia and Ortenzia for heir; Matilda is a big part of my interest in Celia.
Xiang (Quentin's girlfriend) got into the house before I could snap her picture. She grew up cute as well.

Quentin never quite grew into his face. He still looks a little odd.
Celia is still extremely pretty, in my opinion.
Louise gets her beloved vintage styling back. Louise is also extremely pretty.
Ortenzia finally gets her tutu and heels! I'm very partial to Ortenzia, because she's just goofy.
Maud is pretty casual. She's awfully quiet though, which makes it hard to remember her sometimes.
Thump surprises me by turning out pretty drool-worthy. Alas, he still has almost no personality! Poor Thump!
Louise tries valiantly to Meet New People the minute they all get in the dorm. She still hasn't had a first kiss, poor thing.
Those pics were all from my last play session before my computer started choking; the next batch of pics are from after the much-vaunted computer upgrades! My graphics aren't as amazing as some I've seen in the Sims2 community (some are breath-taking!), but I'm quite pleased with the results. They're leagues better than when I started!

Strangely all the dormies were male. Weird.

Ortenzia wastes no time after the odd encounter with her brother, and goes to hang out with Gaius. In their underwear. As you do.

Ortenzia beats everyone else in the house in the woohoo department, being the first to attempt the stunt!

Ortenzia: Of course, now he's a challenge. I have not yet begin to fight!

Leslie: Nice hair, it's cute. But I really like girls who are awesome at cleaning. Laters!

Louise still has no relationship prospects. For a romance sim, she is insanely picky. I think because one of her turn ons is vampires. That can't work out well!
Quentin and Xiang are the next to woohoo in the dorm.
Apparently, that's enough to make Xiang fall in love! But not Quentin yet. Uh...
Two kids down, four to go.
Pillow fights are the perfect post-coitus activity. Even when the pillow whaps you right in the crotch.

Renee spent the night, so they canoodled in the morning.
And since Epitwee isn't getting any younger and still has her lifetime want, Thump proposes! A classic underwear proposal, of course.
Renee accepts and is super thrilled. They are a cute couple. Now to get the other five engaged. Louise and Ortenzia might make that difficult though...
That Damn Llama insists on cheering at people while they sleep. Then he seems mad they ignore him. He's got issues!
Oh yes, Leslie will be conquered by Ortenzia! No man can resist her charms! He's totally crushing.
Matilda comes over again after class and falls in love with Celia on the front stoop. The feeling is mutual!
Leslie succumbs! Ortenzia is victorious!
Matilda and Celia consummate their love, finally. Now only Maud and Louise haven't partnered up with anyone. Maud is too quiet and unassuming (and you'll note barely in this update, she's that quiet) and Louise is desperate but particular, which is turning out to be a deadly combination in regards to her love life.
Either way, everyone has final exams for their freshman year, and all manage to make the Dean's List. Go Goreys!

Date: 2010-11-08 03:40 pm (UTC)True Legacy rules say I have to pick one heir; the rest (the spares) will likely get moved into houses of their own and still get to have kids, so the heir's kid(s) will have cousins to go to school with and such. But I'm allowed to cheat like crazy with the spares!
A lot of people do double-heirs when they can't pick, which I often end up doing, but I really want to pick only ONE official heir since I'm trying to do proper Legacy rules with the Goreys.
