Guess The Song Meme!

doronjosimaSince I can't play Sims until my computer is fixed (Woe!), that means I am recklessly trawling my Sims Flist for my fix. And that means I see A Lot Of Memes. I am weak, WEAK I SAY, against memes, so now you all have to suffer through this one.
(I'd do the 30 days of music meme, but I am going out of town for a comic convention tomorrow, and won't be posting much till I get back... but I have my eye on that one!)
This is shameless stolen from everyone! Let's see how much my iTunes wants to embarrass me or conversely, how ancient/dorky I am... (I honestly have no shame when it comes to songs I like. Also, I'm skipping all the J-pop/K-pop/Bollywood music I have on here...)
Step 1: Put your iPod/iTunes on shuffle.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 20 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song or artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!

Date: 2011-02-24 06:41 pm (UTC)I think I might have to hate #8. People on Trade keep saying "let's have some fun this beat is sick", even though SICK DOES NOT FUCKING HAVE A POSITIVE MEANING, WHAT THE FUCK, LADY GAGA.
I'd also like to do this meme, but at least half of the songs on my playlist don't have lyrics at all. Am I just supposed to skip those? And for the ones that are in Japanese, should I post the Japanese lyrics or their English translation? Do I skip songs that are in languages I don't know? (E.g. Hebrew, scat Finnish)
Oh, and the boys tell me #5 is "Benny and the Jets" by Elton John.

Date: 2011-03-01 04:32 am (UTC)Lady Gaga is just using current modern day slang, and hey, at least she didn't use "tight" to mean "good". (Not that it's awful slang, but kind of weird when the under 13 set uses it... O_o) And I have no idea what kind of trollin' goes on in Trade in WoW, since I have it turned off 24/7. If I want to read 4chan, I'll go to 4chan, know what I mean?
(I skipped every song in a foreign language, because foreign languages make it hard for *other* people to guess things.)
