Day 23 - A song that you want to play at your wedding

"More Than This" by Roxy Music. No brainer on this one- this is the one song that makes me turn into a pile of romantic goo, especially if my husband is anywhere in the near vicinity. Since we got married by a Justice of the Peace (ten minutes, in, out, done!), we didn't have a "first dance" or any of that jazz, but this was what it would have been if we had. Someday, for a big anniversary, we plan to have a big party/reception, and yes, this song will be The Song. (For the traditional "First dance with dad", it's also a Roxy Music song, "Avalon". My dad is solely responsible for my love of Glam.)

Day 24 - A song that you want to play at your funeral

"No One Lives Forever" by Oingo Boingo. Though really, I'll be dead, so I don't really care what they play at my funeral. This song just seems appropriate. I'm sure someone will play something slow and tragic or something. What will I care? I'll be dead. (And hopefully cremated, so I can't come back if there's some kind of zombie outbreak.) A good friend of mine has told me he'd like "The Hell of It" from The Phantom of the Paradise to be played at his funeral, which is just sarcastic enough to be perfect for him.

Lol! Eating a sandwich! That's hilarious! Our JOP was a nice older lady who seemed surprised to see a girl in a vintage dress with hot pink hair and a guy in a suit with a lucha libre mask in his pocket. (He wasn't allowed to wear it in the courthouse for legal/security reasons, but after we were married we went to a fancy city landmark and took photos with him in the mask. If he could have worn it during the ceremony, he would have!)
